Welcome to The Schuler Music Studio! We’re a Los Angeles-based private music lessons studio offering piano, voice, guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, violin, viola, and cello lessons, as well as lessons in assorted woodwinds and brass instruments, and DJ lessons!
Our staff of professional musicians and experienced, qualified music teachers are enthusiastic and work patiently with our students. The result? Our students not only learn to play their instruments, they also enjoy playing music!

- Our “secret sauce” is in our music lesson plans! We make sure they’re clear and tailored specifically to fit each of our students. No two students are identical, so we focus on approaching our lessons with each student’s individual needs, learning styles and unique talents in mind.
- We use the traditional method of instruction but apply it with a song-focused curriculum. This means that while our students learn to read music notation and study music theory, we use songs that our students recognize and love in their lessons as the vehicle to drive that substantive learning. This ensures that they have fun while simultaneously receiving a strong, solid musical foundation!
- Our instruction program doesn’t stop at just our weekly music lessons! Our program is well-rounded: we work closely with our students and their parents to set short-term and long-term goals, we incorporate achievement levels into our lessons, and we additionally offer several very fun live performance opportunities throughout the year!
- We provide a warm, supportive environment for our students so they can confidently explore their musicianship and creativity. Our music teachers are patient, positive and encouraging because we want our students to love playing music as much as we do!
